The escape hatch?

Nostr has the potential to be used everywhere. The integration with Lightning and Bitcoin will only serve to offer freedom of speech, self sovereignty, and promote the use of all three, all around the world.

The aim of #jobstr

I wanted to have project to work on that would enable me to build with Nostr, and have potential to go beyond just text notes (and eventually fingers crossed) use and promote NIP-99 or similar. Another idea is to enable zaps to provide a way for the 'employer' to promote the listing. Maybe?

Nostr for everyone

Are you an employer with no desire to pay expensive recrutment fees? The site will encourage the use of Nostr for "advertising" jobs and make sure good employers can find good talent whilst helping to grow awareness if Nostr.

Why Work on Jobstr?

I don't have sufficient time or expertise to grow this all by myself. A large goal of this project is to get NIP-99 used widely so that Nostr can be more than just a "Twitter for Bitcoiners".

If you have experience with Dev ops I'd like help with automating the entire ETL process. I have written the Rust code to get the events, using NDK. I have also built the Python code to parse the Nostr JSON and embed it in Qdrant

A Few More Words About me

I have a YouTube channel, I use Linux, Neovim, Rust, and GitHub. Potentially looking to move to Codeberg. Depends on collaboration requirements and what is best for this project.
